Lizzie You might try Lohman Arms. Call them first. Sharkey and MLotzii got us an avenue through them a whille back. While that is over, they generally get me what I order within 10 weeks. Nice people and very upfront.
I'd love to hear about those 180 gr SMK's. What range is boringly accurate for it? any good starting load suggestions? Does your rifle have a similar twist rate to my Armalite,1:11.25?
I took another picture of my SS today..... It also shows... A mans home... Even tastefully decorated... Has a deferent ambiance than a woman's home.....
And here is my other favorite longgun...... My Ruger #1 in 375H&H...... It will shoot under 1 moa at a hundred yards....... Had some work done to it......
I don't think Budda minds.... As shooting is a very Zen thing to do... Very Muga Mushin.....
NOW I am REALLY IMPRESSED, I mean REALLY IMPRESSED!!!!!!! Ruger No 1 in 375 H&H may well the the ultimate statement. You don't bring out a 375 H&H unless you are going for Cape Buffalo or other challenging game.
And you don't bring out at Ruger No 1 single shot unless the words one shot one kill mean something and you got a pair big enough to stand there as 2000+ lbs of Black Death comes charging at you.
Hahahaha............ You is so funny Cowboy...... I got those big guns when I lived in Alaska... And they are very sensible up there... I lived and worked outside and it's only smart to have a big gun around.. And to be able to use it well.... Ive been around a lot of bear... you have to keep your eye on them.... i know many people who have been charged and one who was mauled... and he is real ugly... for sure..... However I never hunted big game.... I don't believe in killing anything unless I need to or I'm going to eat it........
But I used to hunt a lot of small game for pot meat with a hand gun.... Which I'm more competent with......
I enjoyed my long guns and used to load and shoot them often years ago.... I used to snap shoot my 458's... and I worked out till i got confident with any thing I owned... Or that would shoot well...... Also.. I am just simple regular real American.. So I like to shoot.. a lot.... And being an American I find big guns even more fun than less big guns..... which just goes for most good things in life.... Like if a little piece of pie is good.... Then a big piece is even better..... Goes without saying.... and many good things in life are that simple.........
