I headed over to Armalite.com this morning to check out their latest creations and found this 16" tactical upper stunning to look at.


  • 1:11.25 RH Twist
  • Flash Hiding Compensator
  • Keymod Handguard
  • Ambidextrous Charging Handle

At $989 would you add this upper to your gun vault?

I read a review on the rifle with that upper in RIFLESHOOTER magazine. They didn't think much of the comp/flash hider, said it did neither very well. Short of the handguard it is standard Armalite, top quality for sure but I'm thinking you could buy the DEF 10 and add what you want for the same or less money.
