Are the grips on the AR-10 National Match rail moveable?
There are 2 slots cut in the front of each grip forming what appears to be a 1 inch tab. Is the purpose of that tab like slot designed to be lifted in the front allowing one to remove and reposition the grip on the rail?
It appears that while the tab is lifted additional force should be used on the grip. Either pull, lift or slide it off the rail.

Are these correct assumptions?
Nipps,
You are correct. Under that tab is a locking lug holding it in place.
Lift up on that tab and push. If they have never been moved, they will be tight and hard to move, but they will move.
