Armalite .223/.308 Barrel Extension Wrench was created by Lizardette

I've been looking around at tools and I found this:

www.armalite.com/ItemForm.aspx?item=EX23...72-bf05-37886dae666c

Am I reading this wrong, or are they saying this is a single wrench that does both AR15 and AR10 barrel extensions?

I mean, it might not be something that most people would ever need, but damn. That would be cool.

Yes that wrench works on both.

Not much use unless your turning blanks into AR-10 or AR-15 barrels.

Well, that's something I plan on doing after graduating Colorado School of Trades Gunsmithing program and opening my own shop.

I'm almost never satisfied with barrel lengths or profiles offered by established companies. Custom makers seem perpetually backed up too. So, I'm thinking that it may be useful to have. :)

Definitely.

There's just no substitute for having the right tool for the job, and quality tools command high prices.

I've made do with re-purposed tools for quite a few jobs, but it's not fun.

Thankfully, due to some careful planning, I should be able to set myself up pretty well when I do open up a shop.
