AR10 DEF B model was created by 4570govt

I'm waiting on my new carbine to be delivered tomorrow, I'm already considering installing a Midwest Industries handguard, the slim model. Question, will I have to change the gas block for a lower profile for the new handguard to fit?

I just found out that yes, I do have to change the gas block! Anyone know what size diameter the barrel is under the gas block?

I suppose I can wait until tomorrow to measure, then order!

The diameter under the gas block should be listed in the specifications on Armalite's site.
