Hey guys, have not been posting for a while. I thought I would wait til I had good news, well good news. My rifle came in yesterday, I didn't think it was ever going to get here. Rock River called at almost 10 months to the day. I mounted the scope last night and will cut the form in the pelican tonight. I will post pics once I get it all slicked up. Peace out Brothers

That is great news! I am looking forward to your first range report. I always liked the looks of them, and have heard a lot of good things about them. And you should get a "Patience of Job" award for that wait.

As you can see spring has finally come to northern Michigan, after the snow last weekend we had about given up. I will be cutting the foam this weekend and will post a range report. I plan on spending most of Sunday at the range. Hope to take it to 600 yards by the end of the day. When I went to pick it up the owner suggested a 175gr match round made by Aramid Defense. He said they where very good factory ammo.

Very nice! Got the 26" inch stainless bull barrel. Now is that the Varminter model? When I was looking at them I was surprised how little the up charge was for that barrel. Today in Wisconsin was 85F yesterday was 48F.You got the Nikon M308 if I remember correctly. If you got the BDC I will be interested how it works out.

Sis - Yes its the varmint model, Hogue grip, star safety, Quad rail. The scope is the BDC reticle and I look forward to seeing how its works. I bought it because someone suggested it for coyotes, we will see. I am going onto SPOT ON the Nikon online ballistics program to print off charts for Sunday.

Lib I have the Spot On program on both my IPhone and IPad. Can't use them at the range I go to though, no electricity, wifi or cell service. So I end up printing it out anyway. There is a you tube video of some guys using that model with some 168 gr SMK's and Varget nailing a 12x12 steel plate at 500 yards. All sorts of fun awaits you.
