Rusty Patina, to, or, not to paint was created by MrMarty51
I have been wanting one of the "Clothes Pin" type of BiPods for My AR10 and finall got what I thingk was a good deal on one.
It has most of the parkerized finish with some rust coming through, I like the Parkerizing but the rust, and then, it really does`nt match the color of the rifle.
HMMMMmmmm, decisions, decisions.
Things is moving fast now.

I have one of those early M16 era clothes pin types with ALICE compatible belt pouch. Never have used it much. I would check out some goof firearms paint for it.

OK, I`ll do that. I do`nt know if I`ll use it much either, Just thought it`d be K~00~L to have one for My AR10, first BiPod I ever used was in Basic, on the M16/AR15 and I thought, Man, this is the real deal here, so I`ve wanted one ever since I got the AR10.

I love my bipods. I even throw one on my Benelli sometimes at the range just to tune things right in and make the AR15 guys wish they bought a shotgun.
When they see those 5/8 inch holes start appearing in the heads of human silhouette targets out at 100 yards, they start re-thinking their strategies...

Yes, remember to keep your firearm pointed in a safe direction.
I've hear a story over and over of a local guy who was a State Trooper. His Captain was doing a ride along with him one day and he was so nervous when he went to get his shotgun out of the car it discharged through the roof of his sedan.
Not sure how that all fits into to paint or not paint your bipod,...

Must have had something todo wit the rifle restingk on the roof of the nicely patina, ated roof of the Buick seeedan.
I did find some O.D. green parkerizing kits in the Brownells web site, but, I thinking I`ll juz painter black, thats whut I has setting around and I wo`nt needs to spend money fuhr paint that I could have spent on boooolis or such.

Just to take a LOT OF THE LABOR out of the project, the headliner is already falling down and is held up, in place, with staples in a diamond pleat pattern, so getting that out of the way`ll be easy, the material glued to the under side of the top wo`nt be too much of a problem either, the oxy-acet. torch`ll have that removed by the time I gets the hole cut. Must make the hole big, I might get a belly with all the coca colas I been drinking and then have to add room for a parka, heck, not fun to shoot jack rabbbits in duh summer, thems is winter time targuts.
Things is moving fast now.
