Trying to decide which AR10 upper

Thanks for the replies. Lots of good info.

I still think I'm not totally understanding the AR-10 A/B/T designators.

Armalite's website lists several AR-10 A4 uppers in the AR-10(T) category.

However there is a separate category for AR10 A2 uppers.

I understand what was said about the different magazine compatibility between AR-10 A versus AR10 B/T. So how does that relate to AR-10 A2 versus AR-10 A4?

Rules of Thumb:

AR10A - Accepts PMags.

AR10B and AR10T - Accepts modified M14 mags. The T(Target) models are AR10Bs with stainless steel barrels and two stage triggers

A4 Designation - Rifles with this designation will have an M1913 receiver rail and a railed gas block.

A2 Designation - Idientified by having a fixed, non-removable carrying handle/rear sight and traditional A-frame front sight and gas block assembly.
