Magpul B.A.D. for AR10?

Magpul B.A.D. for AR10? was created by Arrow 4

I was really wanting to mount a Magpul B.A.D. on my AR10. I think it would be a great enhancement, particularly since most of your/my shooting will be in the prone position. I was disappointed to discover it would not fit. Has anyone used any other type of device or altered a B.A.D. to work on an AR10?

I would love to also, and I've got some lines on two other manufacturers that make these. All are for the AR-15 line. I wonder if they would fit the AR-10. I bet the two guys I know that make them will custom make them for the AR-10. Anyone have any opinions/experience on this?

It is the Battery Assist Device. If you own a fighting AR, you need one of these slick pieces of gear, a must.

Sure Shot makes one type and I don't remember who but one of the MFGs that sale products for high power shooting carries them. Might be Creedmoore or Champions Choice.MSH

Allthough I really want one of these devices, everyone beware. All the ones out there being sold are for an AR-15, none will fit the ar-10, and it will take some work to get someone to one that will, since there are varying dimensions on all the different AR-10 type rifles. But in concept, a phenominol idea. Two others that make them are Phase 5 tactical and Tango 5. I'm going to contact them and see if I can convince them to make that will fit DPMS dimensions.

Did anyone get anywhere with having a B.A.D. made or a existing one modified for the Armalite AR-10? When I get a moment I am going to take the one (Magpul) off my AR-15 to see what needs to be done to mount on the AR-10. I know there is a raised ridge in the lower receiver that has to be delt with where the B.A.D. would go. This ridge prohibits the AR-15 Magpul B.A.D. from being mounted on the AR-10. I am not sure if the lenght of the Magpul will reach down to the trigger and out the other side of the lower receiver. Any input would help.

PARCO, I haven't tried anything new since I originally tried the BAD on my AR-10. I'm hoping Magpul or someone will come up with a solution...I really love them on my 5.56 rifles.
