I like fluted bbls. Stronger and lighter, I wish there were more...if there is a drawback I have not been able to find any info on it, anyone else running these?

They are on my replacement list when my current barrels wear out. If the price of ammo doesn't come down, it will be my son replacing them, not me.

My bbl is 14 in + the flash making it about 16 1/2 overall.

Some will say fluted with decrease accuracy. This begs the question of what are you going to use the weapon for? In my world Accuracy is a pie plate. This can be a mans head/chest, Hog, Deer, Elk etc etc. So IMO their argument is mute unless you are shooting beyond 1000 yds, even then not sure about any significant loss of accuracy...

I thought that was the reason for a fluted barrel, to keep the accuracy in a heated situation? :S

Fluting lowers the overall weight and increases surface area to aid cooling.

I'll offer my condolences if and when it's ever a mistake...
