I pray all goes well with the back.
The Chrony looks to ba a good one.
And I suppose if You send it back to the company, they`ll say something like "Warranty will not cover this types of abuse" or some other ridiculous sort of a statement.
I picked Me up a chrony, several years ago and have not had the chance to take it out and see what My .308 loads is doing.
I seen a feller out at the range setting up His Chrony, He was using a BB gun to get it set right so He would`nt shoot the chrony before hitting the targut.
Things is moving fast now.
What`ll You say when Jesus asks, Why did`nt You read My book ???
I had picked Me up a nice tripod for the chrony from a yard/rubbish sale.
The tripod had no base mount, so, I had a oak light fixture thingey that was about the right thickness. I sawed Me off a chunk of that oak, then sized and shaped it to fit into the tripod, drilled a hole in the center of it and found a real nice screw in Mine collection of things such as screws is found in and it makes fur a mighty nice base to fit the chrony to the tripod.
I thinking the T-Pod was two bucks.
Things is moving fast now.
What`ll You say when Jesus asks, Why did`nt You read My book ???
Your not alone in the "shot my Chrony" club. I shot my old Chrony with cardboard screens first time I used it. Since the holes didn't effect its function, I left them on to remind me not to shoot the Chrony.
