Last year, we introduced the Mod 1 with a 6" inch gas system. This year, we added an 8" version.

I don't care if Armalite jumps onto the bandwageon and makes a copy of somebody elses plastic pistols. I like my Glocks just fine. The market is saturated with copy cats. Armalite should be orginial.
What I want from Armalite is for them to offer 16 inch heavy barrel that isn't bright and shinny as the sun. Their custom shop will not refinish their 16 inch Hog rifle and buying one and sending it to be refinished by a third party will be expensive. If I put a free floating forend plus labor it will cost close to a Noveske N6 16in upper.
Another one is for Armalite to come out with a C.O.P. for the AR-10 platform.

I love my AR10. It's dependable and accurate, fun to shoot, and it gets plenty of oggling at the range. I wouldn't mind an AR15 either one of these days.
I'm not really interested in the Armalite pistols because: they are only available in 9mm, and they are Dual Action/Single Action. I prefer .40 S&W and .45 ACP, and Single Action only. My pistol of choice is still the XD40, followed by the 1911.

1st post!
To Uncle ArmaLite:
Would it be possible to TiN the inside of a barrel?
If so it would outlast any barrel on the market.
That would be innovation.
I bought an Armalite AR-10 because, of the quality.
Even though Armalite even says they make an industrial grade piece it is far and above other brands.
I almost bought an RRA Elite Operator.
I'm glad I didn't.
I just found it to be lacking.
When I got my hands on an Armalite, I knew immediately I had found the right rifle.

I have been building and shooting AR15s for many years but have decided to get into a heavier caliber for white tail deer. I looked at the 6.8SPC the 6.5 Grendel and the 308 Win. After thinking about this for quite awhile I ended up going with the 308 for a lot of reasons. Next was did I want to build a DPMS style rifle for pay the extra several hundred and go with Armalite.... Well I chose Armalite and so far I'm very happy with my decision. In fact if you look at my photo gallery you will see I have 3 Armalite AR-10 variations and we all know it will never stop there.
I wish more companies offered magazines for these rifles.
