Benelli Shotguns was created by Sharkey

I've had a love affair going with these shotgun for years but could never justify getting one. Finally, once my old Remington 1100 was ready for retirement, I decided it was time for the purchase, saved up the money and bought an M4 in black.

I've got to say, it's one of the best damn shotguns I've ever handled or fired and an absolute machine that spits out slugs or buckshot like it's allergic to em. Heck, I've even shot skeet with it and for not having done that in 20 or so years, did surprisingly well with the ghost ring sights and all.

Still working on getting all of the parts I need to make it 922r compliant but almost there with just the butt stock left to go and I can legally carry the mag extension which will bring it to a fully loaded 9 round machine.

I'll post pics once it's done but for now, I'd love to see other guys' shotgun and see what you've done to them and how you like em.

Feel free to post in this thread if you have a Benelli or start another if you want to post a different name that you happen to own and enjoy.

I thought Bennelli had a US factory, so it didn't have to worry about 922R compliance with it's shotguns. Learn something new every day. :twothumbs:

I got a STEAL on the railed forend I have coming for my gun. A guy bought a kit from promag that had a railed forend and a sliding stock for his but likes his $230 forend better than the one that was in the kit so I just got it SHIPPED for $10 bucks.

Good things come to those who wait. (KACHING :cheer: )

He says it's wider than the one he has so he can't stand it but working on the deal for this piece was why I was only 1 piece away from being legal with the mag extension. Now it's down to the butt stock and I don't think I'll be finding any deals on that.

I don't like the sliding type for my shotgun so it's a Mesa Tactical stock for me and I gotta keep my eyes open for a sale but there won't be any 10 buck steals this time.

Almost there... :)

We had an early Benelli Christmas at my house this year. We bought our son a Nova 12 ga. pump and I got a M4. I couldn't wait a month for Christmas to shoot my new M4 so we broke them out early and have been having a great time shooting clays. The M4 will eat everything from light target loads to slugs as fast as I can pull the trigger. My son with his Nova consistantly out shoots me on the clays. Benelli does make great shotguns.

Gotta love em and congrats on the x-mas goodies man.

My wife won't shoot the heavy stuff but I'll keep #1 buck in it when it's at home and she's good with that and 3 dram game loads of #8 that we used for clays.

She had a great time shooting it as well and is actually quite comfortable with it now. She can even field strip it as can my 9 yo sons. My little guy (7) isn't quite up to it alone yet but he's working on it..

What are you using for slugs through yours? I've found the Fed truballs, 1600fps rounds to give me some seriously deadly groupings at 75yards and out to 100. A little dirty in the gun but very accurate and the price is right.
