Well I would say welcome and jump into the mix, but you have all ready jumped in so I will say Welcome just the same... 
Hawaii huh, I know one or two guys that live down there, maybe I can put you in touch with them and you guys can get together and do some shooting...not sure what island they live on but I can find out.
Since you have found your way around already I will just say enjoy and look forward to interesting conversing

There are many here with the knowledge to assist you in your present quest. Building or buying, you will find the answers you need. We welcome you and look forward to your inquiries and discussions...
As we have many topics surrounding the AR-10 and it's counterparts, there is a wealth of information at hand...Feel free to post any comments or questions you have....Some have the technical knowledge and others, such as myself, have the knowledge of accessories and where to find them....

Just to let everyone know, he has ventured here from another site, after announcing his purchase of his AR-10 A4, I guided him here and invited him to join us.
